National Museum of Iran: This museum is the first building in Iran which has been specially constructed to be a museum. The aim of the museum is to give an abstract of Iran's rich civilization, culture and art. The subject of the objects in the national museum is the cultural heritage of the ancient Iran that are presented according to the changes and chronologically from past to the most recent. The objects from one million years ago; Paleolithic up to the late Sassanid period (6^th century AD) are shown in the National Museum of Iran.

National Garden (Baq-e-Meli) Gateway: This high Gateway was built as a gate for entering the Mashq (military practice) square in the 1922 AD during the time of the first Pahlavi king. Later on when the Mashq square was transformed to the first public garden named Baq-e-Meli(National Garden), the name of the gate was also changed to "the National Garden Gateway". This gateway looks like the old gateways of Tehran. At the present time, the area is in the midst of central post office,  police Headquarters and the Civil status office, but still can be visited to remind us of the days it has been prosperous

Sadabad Palace: The Historical-Cultural Complex of Sadabad was once the summer resident of the royal family. During Pahlavi dynasty 18 small and large palaces were constructed in Sadabad complex, each of these palaces exhibits the indescribable eminence and beauty of the art and taste of Iranian Architecture. After the Islamic Revolution the whole complex turned to museum, some of the edifices are exhibited as Palace Museums. Inside each palace-museum, the objects that have been once used by the royal families and were donated to them by the kings, queens and important figures of the time are still untouched and displayed as they were.

Glass and Ceramic Museum (Abgineh Museum): This impressive museum is housed in a beautiful building dating back to Qajar times. The building itself can be really interesting to visit for its glamorous design which is based on different Iranian historical eras. The glassware, ceramics, earthenware and china wares dating from 2^nd millennium BC are organized chronologically into galleries. The most ancient glaswares in the museum date back to 2 millennium BC. In this museum you can even get some explanations about the Persian glass-blowing tradition which is really unique.

Malek Museum: Malek National Library and Museum is a cultural institute donated by Haj Hossein Aqa Malek(the owner of the house for the museum). The museum includes various collections such as carpet collection, coin collection, stamp collection, calligraphy collection, art and lacquer works etc. Malek library holds over 19000 manuscripts from the 7^th to 20^th centuries which are truly amazing. There are also some precious hand-written books and articles and things displayed in this museum which had been collected by the donor himself.
